In the near future the Afronaut, Africa’s top technologist, creates an intergalactic spaceship. Invited on its maiden journey are top celebrities and politicians. In flight, Julius Malema wanders from his seat and discovers a caged chimpanzee in stowage. Naturally he let's the cute, furry, adolescent chimp free. In the ensuing bedlam the chimpanzee bites the spaceship's nuclear stabilizer and there is an almighty atomic explosion... and, all the celebrities and politicians are mutated with cute, furry, adolescent animals. When the mutants return to Earth, the world promptly turn their backs on them, and so the Afronaut takes them to the land of Azania. It is here that he establishes the Nelson Mandela School for Gifted Mutants. The mutant kids however, are struggling with life. Not only are their political and social peculiarities rising to the fore, but they’re also trapped in the bodies of teenagers dealing with issues of puberty, sexuality, homework, drugs, the small minded nearby town, their parents and a seriously confusing education system. "My Child" is a whacky adult animation series aimed for late night viewing.
